First commissioned by Tsar Alexander II to create a special personal cuvée, Cristal was reintroduced by the House in 1924 as the first prestige cuvée champagne. The 2000 vintage is produced from a blend of 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay aged for 5 years.
